This 16th Congress of the International Network of Productive Schools (INEPS), organized in this occasion by IDAP, the Productive Learning Institute of the Town Council of Vilafranca del Penedès, is presented as a place for reflection, for debate and for the learning among professionals from all around the world specialized in Productive Learning, but also for those professionals on education with interests for the investigation of alternatives in the educational world, applicable to youngsters and adults.
The central item during the congress will be “Productive learning for a better understanding among cultures” and it will be enclosed in the very important social and cultural Universal Cultural Forum, Barcelona 2004.
A place for reflection
Productive Learning is defined as a process of education based on the pedagogical concept of the individual curriculum, which takes us to the personal development in our society and at the same time, it contributes to the transformation of the same society.
From the dynamic training, the intention is to promote a bigger social participation of the persona, in order to grant the access to the labor market and to new intellectual and cultural productive levels.
The training itineraries derived from it, and through the practical and significative learning, take place in contact with the reality we live in, a complex and changing reality which is characterized for the human movements and the cultural diversity, which draw a new and plural panorama in the framework of the so called Knowledge Society, with new challenges and new necessities which require innovative educational focus which facilitate the adequate social responses.
A place for diffusion
The 16th INEPS Congress wants to be also a place to spread the Productive Learning methodology, through the analysis and the discussion of its essential parameters. It also wants to spread the innovative projects which are being developed all around world, and here, in our home, as well.
